This project grew out of an interest in human interaction and discussion of those 'forbidden' topics of Politics and Religion and a desire to foster an environment for free exchange/dialog. The original experimentation was in reaction to readership on my own Facebook Profile page, and the subsequent Facebook Group page of the same name 'The Brain Trust'.

The Facebook environment was a little to 'restrictive' to see the kind of growth I really wanted. The Brain Trust was initiated from my own 'Friends List' from which I personally recruited the CORE members here. Those most active in the original project were chosen as Administrators and encouraged to recruit new members from within their own Facebook Friends Lists, however I had been thinking of moving our small beginnings to a Forum format, as the options to sub-categorize the Facebook setting was nearly impossible.

This is a GLOVES OFF ENVIRONMENT, the only restrictions being at NO TIME will threats to the President, Vice President or any other member of the United States Government, or the Government of any US Ally be tolerated, nor will ANY EXPRESSLY RACIST OR PORNOGRAPHIC words, phrases, images. Violators will be banned from this site without further warning and the offending post(s)/thread(s) will be promptly removed.
