Let's look at a key element of the current economy

Post  The Chief Fusionist on Sat Nov 05, 2011 4:45 am

I want to look a little deeper into what caused the economic crash we are in the midst of, and look at it honestly. There are many contributing factors ... but the 'wisdom of the day' is that it's Bush's fault. Well now, NOT so fast. You can't lay ALL of this on Bush policy, or the war, or the housing bubble, Freddie and Fannie --- though all of those things contribute to it, much of it was fostered BEFORE Bush took office. Let's ALSO consider the obstructionist/dismissive Democrats who fought absolutely TOOTH AND NAIL to railroad efforts to control Freddie and Fannie and the housing loan industry.

But let's look deeper still --- I've said it before, and I'll say it again, THEY ARE ALL BASTARDS !

Yep they are all bastards. I think in 20 years looking back on the time we are going through, they will see it is just as bad the The Great Depression. I admit I live in a bubble. I am lucky enough to have a good job but the times are not so good. Even in the Depression there was a section of the population that weren't as affected.
